CULTURE TRANSFER TECHNIQUE During the first lab session, I had learned on how to culture microbes without contamination. Bacteria, viruses and other microorganism are everywhere. They can cause diseases and are called pathogens. Aseptic technique is practices and procedures to prevent contamination from pathogens. It involves applying the strictest rules to minimize the risk of infection. 

Microbiology has had a long, rich history, initially centered in the causes of infectious diseases but now including practical applications of the science. Many individuals have made significant contributions to the development of microbiology.

What is microorganism? Microorganism is a small and tiny living things that cant be seen with our naked eyes. Groups of microorganisms During the first week of lecture, we have been introduced to the microbial world. We also learned that not all of the microorganisms are harmful and virulent that can causes diseases, but most of them give benefits in many ways.
