On this week lecture, we learned about the Kingdom Protists




Basic Technique of Microbiology

Growth requirements for microorganisms can be divided into two factors which are the physical and chemical factors. for chemical factors, in order to grow successfully, microorganisms mush have a supply of water as well as numerous other substances including mineral elements and gas such as oxygen. For physical factors such as temperature and pH value. 

For this week lab session, we had done experiments on microbial growth in different temperature and pH of the environment.

First Class of Second Semester (2nd Week)

Hi peeps! 😊 For our first microbiology class, we were briefed about topics that we are going to learn throughout this second semester generally. And of course, more upcoming projects that we have during this sem. We were divided into new groups and assigned with specific microorganisms for each group. I am in group Fungi 🍄 During the second class of the class, we were given a task to construct a mind map about Microbial Systematic in Fungi. We swapped our mind map with other groups and jotted down things or information that were not stated in the mind map yet. This activity help us to share informations and improved among each other. This semester will be a long and tiring as we have a lot of assignments and lab reports 😪😴  But we will boost up our energy to go through this semester really well and excellenty! 💪

What is microorganism? Microorganism is a small and tiny living things that cant be seen with our naked eyes. Groups of microorganisms During the first week of lecture, we have been introduced to the microbial world. We also learned that not all of the microorganisms are harmful and virulent that can causes diseases, but most of them give benefits in many ways.
